​​​​Carolyn Mignini has spent her professional life as a stage, television and film actress. She was most recently seen on FX's Clipped and Netflix's The Lincoln Lawyer.  She was recently seen on Broadway The Rose Tattoo opposite Marisa Tomei and in the newly released feature Worth starring Michael Keaton. In Season 3 of HBO’s The Deuce, she continues as Maggie Gyllenhaal’s mother, “Joan Merrell.” Carolyn portrayed “Ilene Mulvaney” in Showtime’s acclaimed Limited Series Escape At Dannemora, directed by Ben Stiller. Recent TV includes Veep, House of Cards, Blue Bloods and The Good Wife. 

​​She began in New York, on Broadway and Off. Highlights include: Fiddler On The Roof, The Fantasticks, Christoher Durang’s A History of the American Film, Sister Mary Ignatious Exlains It All For You, and a Drama Desk Nomination for Tintypes.

​​Her years in Los Angeles brought a long list of television credits: The Practice, Picket Fences, Mad About You, Chicago Hope, , Murphy Brown, Touched By An Angel, Wonder Years, Newhart, Family of Spies and Days of Our Lives, to name a few. 

​​She and her husband, actor Steve Vinovich now split their time between NY and LA and have never been busier, including as much time as possible with their two-year-old grandson!
